Career coaching for neurodivergent adults
Work can feel overwhelming when the expectations around you don’t match how your brain works. You may have spent years trying to push through or “fit in.” This space is about doing things differently.
When we work together, work doesn’t suddenly become perfect, but it can begin to feel clearer, calmer, and more manageable. This isn’t about becoming more productive. It’s about creating a way of working that actually fits you.
A different approach to career support
This isn’t about pushing productivity or fixing you. It’s about understanding how your brain works, what you need to feel safe and supported, and what kind of environment helps you function at your best.
I offer personalised 1:1 coaching shaped around you, your experiences, and how your brain works. Together, we focus on understanding what’s really going on, and building ways forward that feel sustainable, not overwhelming.
From there, we build something that works for you, gently, practically, and without judgement.
Support often includes
- Managing burnout, stress, and emotional overwhelm
- Understanding your energy patterns and capacity
- Reducing self-doubt and building confidence
- Exploring the impact of masking and how to reduce it safely
- Improving focus, organisation, and follow-through in realistic ways
- Exploring career direction or next steps
- Setting and holding boundaries at work
- Navigating workplace dynamics and challenges
- Finding ways of working that genuinely suit you
Lived experience at the heart of the work
I came to this work not just through training, but through lived experience. I was diagnosed as AuDHD later in life, after years of trying to navigate expectations that didn’t fit. That understanding brought clarity, not just about how I think and work, but why things had felt so difficult.
I know what it’s like to feel capable but struggle to show it consistently, to feel overwhelmed by things others seem to manage, and to question yourself, your path, and your place in work. That’s why I offer a space where you don’t have to explain or justify how your brain works.
Supportive, collaborative, shaped by you
Coaching is a supportive, collaborative process focused on what matters most to you. Each session offers a calm, confidential space where you can think openly, without pressure. Together, we explore what’s feeling most challenging, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and identify patterns, needs, and strengths, developing practical, manageable ways forward and building your confidence step by step.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, only what works for you.
A typical session
- We begin with what feels most important to you.
- You have space to talk openly about your experiences.
- Together, we explore what’s underneath the challenges.
- We look at practical strategies you can try.
- You leave with more clarity, confidence, and direction.
What coaching is (and isn’t)
Coaching is supportive and non-judgemental. It’s practical, reflective, and forward-focused, centred on you and your goals.
It is not therapy or medical advice, and it is not a place where you’re told what you “should” do. Instead, I work alongside you, helping you find what feels right for you.
You are the expert on yourself. Coaching helps you trust that.
This is for you if work is feeling too heavy, and you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply.
